Camp Honda
For the first time, Honda Canada set out to tell its "share of garage" story, highlighting its range of products in a cottage setting. The brand and Media Profile set their campaign in Muskoka, Ont. and partnered with Cottage Life magazine to tell their story.
The brand invited eight Canadian journalists, along with their families, to spend the weekend at Camp Honda for a product showcase, in addition to the paid Cottage Life journalist. Media were loaned a brand new 2016 Honda Pilot, programed to direct them to their destination. The weekend included a campfire rides on Honda-powered boats and ATVs.
The partnership with Cottage Life resulted in print editorial content, custom videos and digital amplification generating 4.3 million impressions, and 15 in-depth stories with over 9 million impressions in other media.
